Wine is made of grapes, sometimes other fermented fruits. Ever really think about what actually goes into the bottle you are drinking? It starts with the vine grower's love for the grapes. It depends on the placement of their vineyard whether it is warm or cool climate, high on a cliffside, or low in a valley or deep in limestone soils or clay soils. This includes how they cultivate the land, which method they determine to be their choice for growth, protecting their crops, and harvesting. Then it is placed into the hands of the winemaker who works their magic, adding their "magical spells" and choosing the exact moments to stop and start different processes along the way. Every bottle has a story, every glass whispers a secret into your ear. You just have to be patient and "listen" to what you are being told. I love this stuff.
